About Chandlers Hotel
Chandlers was formally known as Agnes Patrick Home, although little is known about the naming of the building, it was felt that a new use for the building deserved a new name. Chandlers was therefore born.
Agnes Patrick House was originally built as a girl’s school in 1900. It is a large rather grand, C listed, red sandstone house set up on a hill overlooking The Clyde. Owned and operated by Glasgow Corporation for a number of years, then lately as guesthouse for the diving fraternity.
Chandlers is a substantial detached property in a superb position with unsurpassed views over the Clyde to the Ayrshire coast and beyond. Chandlers radiates understated luxury. Once through the entrance door you will be greeted by the manager and welcomed into the lounge, where the sea view from the large bay window will capture your sight.
The focus of Chandlers is understated affordable luxury, superb customer service, and thought provoking tranquillity with unsurpassable views that the concrete jungles of our cities would struggle to match.
We provide a quality, bespoke hotel & restaurant with sensible pricing and customer service that leaves a lasting favourable impression on all of our visitors.
